Staying at Island View Guest House Scott free Road nite b4 ferry to St John. Any restaurants close by or will we have to cab it into town?

Nothing within walking distance. No sidewalks, anyway. I mean, you could TRY to walkto the Old Mill, but I wouldn't. Too dangerous. Your best bet is to rent a car. Go to www.budget.com and get one on-line, as the prices are better than doing it once on island. But, since it is just for one nite, if you'd rather not, the taxiis will have no problem taking care of you.

Hello Rosemary,

You could try Crown Bay Marina, Tickles is there. http://www.tickles.vi/ It would be a short taxi ride from Island View. You could pick up a few snacks at the market there as well if you wanted to have some things for the next morning/ferry ride over to St. John.
