I was in St. Thomas a few weeks ago and wished I would have purchased an item in a certain store that I can't remember the name of. It was something like Fran & Flora or Hand Painted St. Thomas...it had specialty painted clothing for women and children, ornaments, hand made jewelery and hand made wall hangings. A person was actually sitting in the store painting clothing and specializing items for customers. Does anyone know which store I'm talking about and if so, the name and phone number to contact them? Your help would be appreciated!

This shop used to be in the back of a space in the strip mall by Shipwreck Landing but they moved to one of the Allies in Charlotte Amalie, can't recall if it was Rieses Alley or Hibiscus Alley but if walking from Main Street toward the waterfront it is on the left side and the clothing is hanging in the entrance way. Terrific handpainted clothing as well as decor for the home. I bought several things for my condo there in August.

It's in Palm Passage. Fran is the owner, and she has a studio at Tillett Gardens. At one point they were calling the store Fran and Flora, but Fran isn't involved anymore so I don't know what it's called now.

Yes, sounds like the spot! Do you know how to get in contact with that store owner? I want to call there!

I'm looking in the phone book, and this is the number listed for her studio at Tillett's: 340-715-4024. That's the best I can do.

Thanks Christina! You don't know how happy you made me! I just called there and talked to Fran and she's shipping out the item I wanted! Thanks again for your help, I didn't know how I was ever going to get the name and number of the store!

She'll also paint on your clothes. I have a linen dress that had a spot (bleach?), and she painted some beautiful flowers on it, so it's now perfectly beautiful. Great way to give new look to old clothes.
