After reading a few posts over the past few days it had me thinking that why not post our favorite things to do in the islands. I'm not a full time resident myself but am a property owner that visits somewhat frequently (STT). Here are a few of my favorite things.

1. Pedicure at Dona's on Cassie Hill...she is not part of a resort. Smith Bay Road a block from Coki. This generally gets me in the island feel. After another depressing midwest winter she always takes care of my feet. Even with those stateside banned "shavers" that work the best she still has them available. It's the only thing that works for my feet.
2. Dinner with Anna at the Toad and Tart. You will always walk away with a smile, a story and a happy belly.
3. Day trip over to Miss Lucy's on St. John. Beautiful views and great food.
4. Follow that day trip to Trunk Bay, ace in the whole!

Well those are my favorite things.

After so many years, Anna AND the Toad & Tart are closed....sorry to see her go.

Let's not be too hasty here! The official close date is Sunday July 31st and until the close of business on that day I'll be open Thursday through Sunday with dinner served from 5:32-9:46 PM unless I change that info on the website and likewise change the message on the answering machine. Given the stress level right now which is enormous and the physical health issues caused by the stress, who can say for true, but I most certainly will keep everybody up to date as best as I can.

I will miss you! I hope that you will be able to rest and enjoy the days to come.

Thanks, Molly! Maybe the next time you get here I'll be back to my old self after some rest and we can meet up for a drink or whatever!

So sorry to hurry your departure from your wonderful restaurant, I have enjoyed so many wonderful prime rib dinners in the cozy! Will you be thinking of another venture ?? I am retiring for good in February and plan on spending months at a time in my Paradise of STT....hope we can meet up anyway and enjoy a nice lunch or dinner that YOU don't have to cook !
