We will be on Jost for a day. What are the must see bars to stop by (other than the obligatory Foxy's and the Soggy Dollar)?

We just came back and only went to Great Harbour and White Bay. Try Gertrudes next to Soggy and Ivans Stress Free Bar (a short walk from Soggy). I also here that Foxy Taboo (Foxy's daughter) has really good food.

Corsair's is worth a visit in Great Harbor along with Foxy's. At White Bay: Soggy, Gertrudes and One Love are a couple of our favorites. If you have more time to spend, you can try Foxy's Taboo -- it's somewhat isolated so leave time for back & forth taxis. The Bubbly Pool is a 10-15 minute walk from Taboo if you want to have a look at that. Taboo will give you a map. Have a great time, we're headed there next month ourselves!

If you are ferrying to Jost your time there will fly. For my money, Soggy Dollar and Ivan's. You can easily while away an entire day at either.. White Bay is incredible. It's very hard to leave..........

Thanks for the input.

How far apart are the bars on White Bay?

White Bay is relatively small, and most of the beach bars are quite close together. Here is a webpage with a fairly good aerial shot of the beach (at the bottom of the page); most of the bars are literally within a minute's walk from each other with the exception of Ivan's which is over at the campground. http://www.pinkhousebvi.com/whitebay.html

We really like Sedi's One Love and Ivan's on White Bay. Ivans is an easy 5 minute walk to the East from the Soggy Dollar on a path over some rocks.

Cheers, RickG
