Was wondering if some people could give me impression and thoughts of the campground. Safety being number one. My daughter (20 yrs. old) and her college friends want to do spring break there. There will be both guys and girls. Of course I'm concerned.
Thanks in advance.

I thought Cinnamon was a great campground. Lots of families. My BIL and his wife and 1 year old stayed there, and they felt very safe.
I think the same rule that applies in the states applies anywhere else. As long as you are not falling down drunk and act like a MARK then you'll be fine. Even if you are you will probably STILL be fine. It's a far better place than Cancun or ft Lauderdale ya know. I would be happy they don't want to go party there with the MTV or GIRLS GONE WILD fan club. LOL. You can meet the bad guy ANYWHERE just use your head.
I would like to remind people that in order to stay at Cinnamon Bay you need reservations months in advance. Also there is a two week limit as to how long you can stay there.
The Boy Scouts have a campground on St. Croix which they only use a few weeks a year. They are now trying to market it to private groups as a means of fundraising. It is there most valuable asset.
So far the Scouts have a capacity of 150 campers on a bare site business bring your own tent. The Scouts have two latrine buildings and two shower buildings so there can be separate mens and womens facilities.
A group of students from Copenhagen are visiting in March to do a video about St. Croix for Danish Television. There will only be 30 of them during an oter wise slow week so they are being permited to sleep in the Mess Hall.
There are expectations it is going to be a busy time the first week of May for the St. Croix Half Ironman. Be sure to reserve in advance.
Hi-thanks for the info. The group already has reservations.
