The baths were a short $3 taxi ride away. Pay for one way so you can leave with the taxi of your choice. We came back 20 minutes early so we wouldn't have to sit on the lower level of the ferry with the worst of the fumes. The baths were fascinating. Make sure you go all the way to the end, where you will find a nice beach. Top of the Baths restaurant, owned by the governor's sister (USVI) had a great cocunut fried chicken sandwich, but the service was slow.

On STJ, we ate at ZoZo's, Banana Deck, Paradiso, and our favorite, the Lime Inn. Lime Inn has all-you-can-eat shrimp on Wednesday nights for $22. They also have a hot fudge brownie and ice cream dessert which is terrific. We ate breakfaxts, some lunches, and a dinner in the villa which saved some money, as meals ran between $130 and $190 each night and that consisted of 3 adult entrees, 2 kids entrees, 2 alcoholic drinks, and 3 non-alcoholic drinks. All the restaurant food were very good. Service tended to be slow. Only the waitresses at Lime Inn and Paradiso were friendly and the rudest person on the island is the host at Paradiso. Mongoose Junction is a cool shopping center and my teens loved one of the stores.....Big World or something to that effect?! We started out drinking only bottled water, but with all the frozen drinks, we gave up, and were drinking tap water by the end of the trip without any problems, I might add.

I'm sad to report that Slimmans' Parking has raised their rates. Parking after 5pm is now $10. We got back from the baths at 5:30 and he said he wanted the $15 from the day parking and another $10 for the night parking. I told him I was going to let all of my bulletinboard friend know about this and he backed down the extra $10. We usually parked on the hill going up to ZoZo's alongside the cemetery. It says "No Parking", but eveyone was parking there and we were never ticketed.
