Okay, I don't know about everyone else but i got back from STT and STJ a little over a month ago and miss it so much. i had been to mexico before and liked it, but the virgin islands were paradise. I miss the culture and laid back island style. I think about it all the time and want to move down there in a couple of years temporarily. Is anyone else suffering from Virgin Island Depression??? 🙁

I returned July 15th and very sad - our group of 13 had a great time in St. John again - now I have a recent college graduate who is seriously talking about going back in October and looking for a job for a year - I have mixed emotions!

I just came back July 22nd, and Im already making reservations to go back either in October or November. Its actually very inexpensive due to its in season. I can stay 6 days 5 night at the Westin and 2 airfare tickets for only $2200. Not bad at all, anyone wanna go with me?

I do, I do.... well, I'll have to save my pennies for awhile since I just got back on July 18th. I find myself thinking about St. John and looking at my pictures and cruising this website, hahaha, it's kinda scary actually, haha! Someone mentioned posting a link to their pictures... how do you do that? I would love to see everyone's pictures from their trip reports. I took some great shots myself but don't know how to make them available.... just curious. Oh and have you ever thought about staying in Cruz Bay like at Gallow's Point where you can walk to all the places to eat or is the Westin just really convenient too?

Ive never stayed at Gallows point but the pictures dont look bad, although pictures can be deceiving. I like the Westin, its convenient for us, then again having a car is really convenient.

You can go to picturetrail.com and sign up for a free account and load your pictures there and then just post the link.

We got back on 7/3 from our first trip to STT and STJ...I miss STJ so much!! I really want to go back next year but we've been putting off going to AZ for several years now and my sister now lives in CA so we've decided to do the AZ/CA trip next year...but if I come across a great last minute deal on airfare to the Virgin Islands we may find ourselves in STJ again sooner than planned!! I'm still working on my trip report, I started it a week after we got back and I haven't been able to find the time to finish it (and it's almost a bit depressing writing it knowing it may be a couple of years before we get back!!).

Staying at the Westin is nice , but for the feel of the Island I recond Gallows over Westin , You can walk around and see things from a different view , also rening a jeep is a must , you have to drive all around st john to see all of its splendor. . i lived there and I know what I am saying .

I too miss the islands and look forward to returning very soon. Gallows Point is very nice. A wonderful and very convenient place to stay. Short walk to Cruz Bay. You do need to rent a vehicle to be able to see the whole island. I'm ready for island time again. Enjoy!

I miss the day we got on the boat and took that ride though the USVI's and BVI's. The view was just incredible.. Something I'll always remember and can't wait to bring friends back to see it.

We still have our visit to look forward to -- just a few more weeks! -- but I've resolved this time not to waste time and psychic energy getting depressed the last few days before the end. Let's see if I can stick to it! Any help will be much appreciated...

Going with hubby from 10/19 to the 26th. I think the AA sale is online only. I posted a message about the sale dates and everything. Getting very psyched for the trip. We almost weren't going to go this year....then we came to our senses!!
