As i m planning to move over to St. Thomas i m wondering if i can continue my hobby over there. is metal detecting allowed (on beaches, under water, parks.) Thanks for ur help and infos.

Any beach but megens on Stt, And not in the park beaches or waters in St John

Also not allowed in Charlotte Amalie harbor. I know some people do, but it is still illegal.

Hello all.

I was just wondering about metal detecting in St Croix. Is there any area that prohibits. Also, does anyone prospect for gold there, other than sunken ship treasures, or pirate treasure? It's a hobby of mine. Thanks for your help.
