Has anyone traveled to St. John/St. Thomas in May? How hot/humid is it? Too hot to hike? THanks.

We don't get any degree of humidity until end July and even at it's worst it's infinitely more bearable than the summer humidity I remember in Connecticut 20+ years ago when one would stand still and drip. The trade winds die down in the summer months and thus the slight rise in humidity. You should be very comfortable in May and certainly enjoy hiking. Enjoy your visit!
