Is it just me, or is that the ugliest color scheme on the entire island? Bluh!!

Marty: I agree with you! 🙂 I do not understand (stateside?) designers who decide that these are "Caribbean colors." If you look across the harbor from this monstrosity, you will see St Thomas colors. They are not garish like those of this project.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but the exterior is actually quite attractive when compared to the interior! Can you say ROYGBV?!?! I sincerely hope Marriott got a discount from the design team; if not, they should negotiate one.

What's up with the cracked walls and unfinished stone work?

I think that "unfinished" stone work & cracked walls is a not so well done version of what they did at Yacht Haven Grande. Doesn't look so good in that photo. What is "ROYGBV?"

I can't visualize that little tiny beach that I used to use all the time being able to cope with all the people who will be in those buildings.

Hi Trade:

ROYGBV is Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Violet; basically the interior looks like they threw a box of crayons at it.

Sense: I learned it as "Roy G. Biv" with the "I" being indigo, the order of the colors in the rainbow!

Ronnie: In the early 80s the design "hook" was the color mauve, since then there have been any number of "now" features- the latest one is evidently faux antiquity. THPTHP!! I say...

East Ender:

I stand corrected; forgot about indigo.

I am very curious as to any overall reviews on the facility itself. We are scheduled to go to the Marriot Frenchman's Cove in April. Any upfront news on what to expect would be very appreciated. What's open/completed, what's not, etc. Food, bars, nightlife, etc.... thanks.

And more importantly, how was the service and atmosphere?

I'm scheduled to go in June and was not aware it would still be nder such heavy construction. Has anyone been there? Any reviews? I'm thinking of cancelling.
