Hi - Getting married at the Marriott and having our reception at the Windows on the Harbour Outdoor Terrace. Does anyone have any photos or comments on the location/views? Are there any other locations at the Marriott that would be better (ie. near the Morning Star pool or Coca Joe's area) Thanks!

While at Morningstar, saw a reception at Havana Blue. That looked really cool. The only problem is it's pretty much open air so no luxury of a/c like Windows.

Other than that, Windows would be a very nice selection with wonderful views of the harbor.

Enjoy.

Hi - Thanks for your reply. We are actually having a welcome party the night before the wedding at Havana Blue so I'm glad to hear you liked it. Appreciate you taking the time to respond and thanks for your feedback.

The Windows is a nice dining room. There is a small outdoor terrace next to it, not sure if this is what you are making reference to.There is also a terrace off the lobby.

Overall the Marriott is a nice property with a great location and views.Though it shows some age hear and there nd the level of service is mixed.

Hi - Yes it is the outdoor terrace area I am referring to. Thanks for your comments. Based on the reviews I've heard so far, I think we are going to keep the reception at the Windows on the Harbour Terrace. Thanks again!

FYI--The terrace outside of Windows is not all that big. Would imagine perhaps room for 6 to 8 round tables, plus room for serving.

Thanks for the heads up - I think that should be enough room since we are only expecting about 25-30 guests. We'll probably need about 4-5 round tables at the most.

RU - Based on the number of people we are having, do you think there is enough room for dancing because we plan to hire a DJ?

Imagine there would be some room left with that amount of people in attendance.

Best wishes.
