Hi,
We need to decide between the two resorts. We always go all-inclusive when we travel - it's just much better for us & we love the convenience of pre-paying.
Anyway, anyone stay at both or either resort?
Which has a better beach?
Any info would be great
Jackie

Marriott....hands down. You'll get more for your money.
Bolongo is a bit run-down, yet much more relaxed & the food is good - but, Marriott does have much more "class".

My husband also likes all-inclusive and we just stayed at Frenchmens Reef in July, I agree that Bolongo is a little run down (we have also stayed there). We didn't do all-inclusive at Frenchmans because we rented a car for the 1st time and I highly recommend doing that, there are so many great restaurants on the islands and you don't want to be locked into having to be back to your resort just for meals, aside from that the beach at the Mariott is quite a trip to get to and not that great, the rooms also need up-dated and the prices at the store for snacks, drinks or bottled water were outrageous! Two years ago we did all inclusive at the Wyndham and I think you would be happier there, the beach is right next to the pool, restaurant and bar. It is not as far as the Marriott and there is a shuttle back to the hotel. The breakfast buffet was good as were the evening meals in the lobby restaurant, the pool side restaurant is also buffet but had a good variety and you can't beat the location, we're going back in Feb but haven't decided where we will stay yet, its a toss up between the Best Western at Emerald beach or a villa, depends on how long we get to stay! Hope this helps you!
