I signed up for the 5 day 4 night vacation that comes with a 90 minute seminar, where they try to get you to sign up for a time share? I am trying to get a little feedback from anyone who has gone thru this already. What did you think? I am going this month (soon). Can't wait, but am a little nervous of the "hard sale".
Thanks!
Suffer through the sales pitch, say thank you, get the bennies and then walk away. Is that simple or what?
Bluwater,
Did it! But I only got 3 nights, my salesperson was transferred there from Aruba and wasn't to familiar with STT. The place is really nice and you will enjoy yourself. You have three choices 1. You Buy 2. You must think about it (they will call you every day while your there) 3. Like Nancy Regan use to say " Just say No". It's a 90 minute presentation in the day and some are Dinner Presentations in the early eve. Have fun, you never Know.
Timeshare salespeople are universally very earnest but seasonally come and go like the trade winds. The majority here is transient at best and make their way and money for just a short while until they fly off to what they perceive to be a more lucrative market.
Read the fine print. Once you're here you might find that you can sign in to the "90 minute seminar" for the sake of contractual creditability but then leave after a few minutes with no penalties. The sales program is based on people being gullible and falling for the snake oil pitch. Caveat emptor! Cheers!
