We are visiting family this Winter and wonder if there are any of the larger bookstore chains on the Island? As in Borders or Barnes & Noble?

Definately not on St. John, I am almost sure that there is nothing on St. Thomas, and I am guessing not on St.Croix either.

On St Thomas there is one book store- Dockside Books in Havensight.
