Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening to you all!!!

I am coming down to St. Thomas for a week (May 27th-June 3rd) and am wondering if it is worth it to bring the golf clubs. I have read some info about Mahogany Run and it seems beautiful and quite a unique golfing experience. Is it hard to get a tee time? Is it too expensive for the money, which was between $90-125 depending on the time? What are your general impressions of the course? I am the only golfer in my family, so I am also looking for a playing partner if anyone is interested.

Thanks to everyone, especially Islander, for all the wonderful posts on this site. This is by far the best source of information to get the real scoop on coming to the islands!!!

I've played it 3 times and its definitely worth your while to give it a shot for a round. They rent decent clubs for around $25 so its up to you whether or not to bring your own. If you're a hacker like me, its probably easier to rent than lug your own. They also rent shoes...I think for $10 so you can leave them at home, too. There are some spectacular views as you play the course so you might want to take a camera along. The course is a bit tricked-up so it would be a benefit to hook up with a local player. I'll be on St John from 5/17 to 5/26 and hope to get in a round with the crew from Skinny Legs. If I'd been around during your stay we could have played a round. Enjoy your stay and try to get to St John for a day trip.
