We are visiting STT in February for 10 days and plan to stay at the Bolongo Bay Resort part of the time (for a personal visit to staff), but want to stay part of the time where there is a quiet & beautiful beach - not rocky like the one at Bolongo. Magen's Bay? Do you suggest part of our time on St. John? Or the BVI? We also enjoy great pool areas - and rooms with kitchen units. I am reading so much that I'm getting confused! Thanks!

Magens Beach is a park, so there are no places to stay there. There are several villas for rent in Peterborg (the point of land that creates Magens Bay), but they aren't cheap. It sounds like Secret Harbor would suit your needs. Sapphire Beach, too, but not as quiet. There are villas on the beach on STJ, but they are a bit priceier. Is money an issue for you? If not, there are some fabulous places to choose from.
