An aunt, that I've not seen since 1967, and a 2nd husband that I've not met, will be visiting via crusie ship on the 17th. Theyare fairly well off, but according to my cousin, kinda cheap cheap cheap. I don't therefore envision sitting in a fairly nice resturant having lunch. Especially since they have all the food they want on the ship...why pay for it on land, is most likely how they'll think. Personally there would be little enjoyment for me, and I suspect them being on vacation as well, to be couped up inside in a resturant instead of enjoying the great scenery. They would like to take an island tour by taxi, but I'm checking the cost of that. Any help here?
Since we need time to visit, I was wondering if taking them to Magens to sit and enjoy a portion of the afternoon might be a good idea? She is a reputedly a coffee drinking-aholic........so I need to know a: anyone have a better idea, b: can I find reasonably comfortable (for an hour or more) tables and chairs at Magens and c: do they serve coffee at Magens? I know they have soft drinks and liquor, but can I find coffee, maybe?
Any thoughts, suggestions, and/or even prayers might help. Thanks.
Hello Paul,
I don't know if Magens Bay has coffee. Perhaps Moutain Top does so if you do an island tour that goes to Mountain Top you could get coffee there. Alternatively do the island tour and then go to one of the restaurants in Havensight for coffee and then walk around the shops for a bit - if they want to shop that is. You can call Magens Boutique/Concession and ask about coffee avialability - as this would be a lovely place to sit and and talk. Good Luck.

Thanks, I finally announced the plan today. Meeting up at Bumpo's, lunch at Cuzzin's and then an island tour with a definite stop at Magens. They can shop before I arrive.
Thanks
