The dept, of tourism used to offer something similar in town by the Grand Hotel but do not know if they do that any longer. Maybe someone else will know.

Yes, one time when we arrived in Charlotte Amalie from St. John early for our flight, a taxi drive r kept our luggage for us while we had lunch and shopped, and we arranged a time to meet him. We were a little skeptical, but it turned out just fine. We met up with the driver as planned, and he took us to the airport. Maybe we were just lucky?? Or maybe this is something they do all of the time.

Picko's Taxi Service was very helpful to us when due to weather we had to stay over in St. Thomas after leaving St. John. Lee Pickering helped us find a hotel for the night after first going to airport and checking on our flight as he was the one who informed us that he did not think our flight would be leaving as we thought. I am excited that on Saturday of this week we will be arriving for our 11th visit on St. John!!!!!

I's a very nice service which many of the taxi drivers offer. A great alternative to schlepping around baggage those last few hours!
