I'm flying in to St Thomas at 12:40 PM on Tuesday the 17th and then taking the 5:30 PM ferry to St Johns is there a place near the Ferry pickup location to store a couple of bags while I shop?

Thanks,
Ed

Don't think so, sorry.

BTW, it's just St. John, no "s".

the yacht haven grande has opened a luggage and welcome center, if you don't mind spending a little time shopping at yacht haven grande and nearby havensite and port of $ale malls, all within walking distance of one another...

Why are you waiting to take the 5:30 ferry from town? Go directly to Red Hook where the ferries run on the hour every hour and get to St John a lot earlier to enjoy the day! Where price is concerned (combined taxi and ferry fare) it works out the same whichever terminal you go from and with your arrival time you'll easily get on the 2PM ferry and be on St John by 2:30.

I never thought about Red Hook. Plan was to shop for 3-4 hours on St Thomas first then the ferry. I suppose I could do that on Saturday when I go back to St Thomas. Suppose to catch a sailboat in St Thomas Saturday going north to Florida although I'm only on board to the Caicos Islands. Hope to do some scuba diving on St John 1 or 2 days while I stay with a friend and then I have 3 days of diving scheduled on South Caicos. Thanks for the idea.
