I'm planning a week trip this winter to St. Thomas with my retired parents. It's not the first time to the Caribbean for them, they have been on many cruises. What I'm worried about is keeping them busy since they will not have all the cruise activities they are normally accustomed to.
I don't think they can spend the whole day everyday at the beach, so I'm looking for other ideas.
We plan on renting a car so getting places should not be a problem. Any recommendations on places to stay.
Thanks
Hey @sandinmyhair, Are your folks reasonably fit and active retirees, or do their vacation activities need to take into consideration some physical limitations? What cruise activities do they usually participate in and enjoy when they have cruised in the Caribbean?
Renting a car is a great idea, allows for much more flexibility! For places to stay, does your family prefer hotels, or are you open to vacation rentals and villas?
There are typically lots of Christmas related concerts and events in December and lots going on in January too. When do you plan to visit?
