My husband is an experienced sailor from Gloucester Mass. We now own a luxury inn in New Orleans. We would like to exchange a week on someone's sleep-aboard sailboat at or near St. John for equivalent time at our inn. Despite the news reports, New Orleans is absolutely terrific. Our inn is located in the Bywater neighborhood--the last hold out of an authentic New Orleans neighborhood. The Bywater's friendly bars and restaurants are a throw back to the old days and a welcome break from the tourist frenzy of the nearby French Quarter. For travelers who want to know what it means to miss New Orleans.

We also have a saltwater pool, jacuzzi, cabana with wet bar and bath, commercial propane grille, etc. Each of our 4 suites is 500 sq. ft. with private entrances, private living rooms and private bathrooms. You can split up your stay in one suite or rent all four suites and have a party. We'll exchange dollar for dollar high or low season. Sorry, we must exclude Mardi Gras, Jazz Festival, Essence and French Quarter Festival. (unless we have rooms open)
