Can someone recommend a good local (West Indian) restaurant in St. Thomas.
Thanks
Shane,
I am currently in STT on vacation since 10/31/07 and I just came from a nice native restaurant called "Victor's Hideout" .Very Good. One of the ladies in there make a mean Rum Punch.
To get there..... you have to go out by the airport. You will see a sign for the restaurant on the wall on the left hand side if you are coming from downtown.
Also there is Cuzzins on back street and Gladys Cafe downtown. Ask anyone for directions. They both are good, but Gladys Cafe was better for me.
I hope this has been helpful.
Thanks Sassy! I will try Victor's Hide out.
More info needed, Shane. Are you coming on a cruise ship for just one day or are you coming here on a more extended visit? Cheers!
COUSIN's...backstreet, downtown STT.
Cuzzin's is the best!! Most authentic.

Double ditto Cuzzin's. Try conch (curried or in butter sauce) there, you'll find it tender and tasty. The best chicken soup. And local drinks like sea moss.
STT. Resident:
Cruise ship for one day. So far Cuzzins/ Cousins ( sp?)seems to be very popular, any thoughts? What is the exact address?
Thanks
Sorry, it is spelled CUZZIN'S Caribbean Restaurant and Bar, 7 Wimmelskafts Gade, St. Thomas. 340-777-4711.
Cuzzin's is the correct spelling and if you ask anyone, they will tell you Back Street, although the correct name of the street IS Wimmelskafts Gade. Most folks downtown can direct you...
