Does anyone know of any local Jazz Bands on either St. Thomas or St. John besides Greg Kinslow's Band? Any information would be appreciated.

On St. John we have Steve Simon's jazz band that plays on Sunday afternoons at the Beach Bar and Rich Greengold :

I just spoke to Slimman. He works for the National Park, owns Slimman's Parking here in Cruz Bay, and plays in a band called Paradise People. They play at the Balcony on Tuesdays and he says they do play jazz as well as other kinds of music. The contact for Paradise People is Carl Powell 340-693-8379.

Jazz at the Beach Bar will be one of the highlights of your trip. It will give you a chance to sit around and actually meet some great local folks. Lots of folks into jazz come over STT.
