When you arrive, pick up a copy of the free local paper, "The Island Trader" which comes out every Thursday and in which you'll find pretty much everything that's going on. Apart from looking at the display ads and the "Live Action and Night Life" listings on the last couple of pages, it's usually a good idea to check out the "Miscellaneous" line ads too.

Hello,

Paradise Point for their happy hour is fun. Greenhouse two for Tuesdays is good and they also have a live local band on certain nights of the week - here is their schedule http://www.thegreenhouserestaurant.com/greenhousestt/events.html. On Sunday afternoons there is a live local band at the beach bar at Sapphire Beach Resort. Bolongo Bay Resort has a good Caribbean show - I think on Wednesday nights. Inner Visions, reggae band from St. John, plays at various bars on St. Thomas and St. John; haven't seen their upcoming schedule as yet but you can follow up on that closer to your travel date. Lots to do.
