Any suggestions on where to view/buy local art (particularly watercolors)?
What a lot of local talent- I can't wait to check it out.
Thanks so much for all the great suggestions.

Does anyone know the artist who painted the "Miss Lucy's" sign on STJ???
Work looks very similar to that of a guy I know, and who I once appeared in a gallery with.
I don't know his name. He does great work...Doug at Crabby's has several pieces...you might ask him..I'm not sure of Crabby's email address...but his business is Crabby's in Coral Bay @Cocoloba Shopping Mall..do you want to get a piece from him? Our art director is in maine for the summer...she has several pieces..i can find info out when i speak to her next week.

Thanks Sloop,
Just wondering if it's the same person. It would really be a 'small world' if it was. Brunson, was the guy's last name. Oh so curious, is all.
I got some more info. He signs his pieces Paz...he's about 30 +/- 3 years.

A truly good water color artist is Lucinda O'Connell on St. Thomas. She has a web site at www.artbylucinda.com that will show you some of her work and tell you a bit about her accomplishments, background, and where you can see the real thing. I have a piece of her work that I really love as it gives me the "feel" of being in the islands and is a great accent to my home. Look up the website, I think you'll be impressed.

Will they ship things back and, more importantly, is the price prohibitive?
