Does anyone know the artist who painted the "Miss Lucy's" sign on STJ???
Work looks very similar to that of a guy I know, and who I once appeared in a gallery with.

He does great work...Doug at Crabby's has several pieces...you might ask him..I'm not sure of Crabby's email address...but his business is Crabby's in Coral Bay @Cocoloba Shopping Mall..do you want to get a piece from him? Our art director is in maine for the summer...she has several pieces..i can find info out when i speak to her next week.

Thanks Sloop,
Just wondering if it's the same person. It would really be a 'small world' if it was. Brunson, was the guy's last name. Oh so curious, is all.

A truly good water color artist is Lucinda O'Connell on St. Thomas. She has a web site at www.artbylucinda.com that will show you some of her work and tell you a bit about her accomplishments, background, and where you can see the real thing. I have a piece of her work that I really love as it gives me the "feel" of being in the islands and is a great accent to my home. Look up the website, I think you'll be impressed.

Any thoughts on the best way to bring home delicate articles like glass?
Will they ship things back and, more importantly, is the price prohibitive?
