We will be visiting STJ June 22-July 5. Any good local artists/ art events to recommend?
It's too early for those not involved in the planning to know about anything specific, but you'll be on island during St John's festival/carnival season. There will be crafters/vendors set up in the park, so you'll be able to see some inexpensive crafts though not all will be locally made. The store, Into the Blue, in Wharfside Village sells many items that are made by local artists.
You might want to check St John School of the Arts website, the National Park on St John website, and Maho Bay Resort website. Those are the ones most likely to have an artistic event.

Great place to watch the sunset, usually there are some local flute players which just add to the experience
And of course some great Island Art
