Good evening, is there a season for harvesting/catching lobster and can anyone suggest some good areas? Thanks in advance

I don't believe there is a restriction on size of snare but absolutely NO spearing!
With snares you can release (and hopefully, you will!) females with eggs you may snare,
accidentally without killing them which is the point of using ONLY snares and no spears, hooks, gigs, etc.

I released many females with eggs in my lobster catching days and let some huge, grand,
oldsters continue to be top breeders, male and female.
Why catch more than you need for dinner?

I certainly have no intention of spearing lobster but may spear some lionfish. The lady at Fish and game said, " Please take all you see!!"
And no I won't take any more than we intend to eat. I just didn't know what the bag limit outside of the NP was. This will be my first crack at it, I just hope I can get a few!!!:@)

Indeed, take ALL the lionfish you can catch but be careful doing so.
