Hello All,

I will be visiting Nov 15 - Nov 20, and would like to check out any live music spots during my stay. Please provide suggestions.

Thanks!
Toi

Check out to see if The Beach Bar has it's Jazz Sunday. Not to be missed if they do, especially if you enjoy good jazz and mingling with "locals". Usually jam between 4-6.00 or is it 7.00

Jazz Sunday sounds great - but is The Beach Bar on St. John or St. Thomas? Thanks

Sorry about that....it's on St John. But its a cheap 6.00 buck round trip.....throw in one drink and you've got some cheap but great entertainment

Hi Toi,

On STT you have loads of choices depending upon the type of music and what is going on when you are on island. Green House downtown, Offshore in Port of Sale, Tickles Dockside, Paradise Point, Sunday beach party at Sapphire, Sunday night live music at Coki.....plus the live shows at resorts. I'd pick up a copy of the Island Trader in Thursday's VI Daily News once I got there to see what is available that week. Also, check with the resort staff wherever you wind up staying.

Hello - Any place to go on the island if you want to hear something to dance to or even listen to with an american flavor - a Disc Jockey or a Top 40 Band - or are they both a reach?

Hello Chris,

St. Thomas...
Greenhouse, Stereo, Tommys... have djs that play a mixture of top songs, a bit of techno, some zouk and salsa, some older hits, some reggae... they mix it up.

Or, a good idea is to pick up an Island Trader when youget here and the back couple of pages are called "Live Action". It lists what's happening where for STT and STJ

On STJ, try to catch Inner Visions when they play at Fred's. They're a good local reggae band that's been together for years. I noticed that you're not going to be in the VI until next November, so a lot could change. Best post the question again sometime next fall.
