Little Magens is accessible from Magens Beach --- by walking in the water, close to the rocks, an estimated 500-600 yards from Magens Beach (it may only be 300-400 yards, but it seemed longer). As you face the water from the parking lot, go to the far right end of the beach, past where a small day-boat launch is. Do NOT try to walk over the rocks - extremely slippery and dangerous; Do wear sneakers or the equivalent - do not do this barefoot. Be prepared to carry your towels & whatever chest high or higher to keep them dry, although most of the walk is waist deep. Even though "Little Magens" is only an estimated 35-50 yards long, the afternoon we spent there was among the most peaceful and enjoyable we have ever spent in the Caribbean, which is why I am sending this post. Do bring your snorkel stuff. Beware the curious kayakers...

Hi Stu:

Any specific suggestions on the road access? How tough a climb is it?
Thanks

Well its a nice climb back up, that driveway is pretty steep. The wooded part is pretty easy, but its that damn driveway. It needs an escalator. Just look for the construction type gate on the left. Park on the street and walk down the driveway behind the gate, you will see the trail at the bottom of the hill.
