Rome too busy, Florence beautiful, swamped in Venice 2 days! My deaf husband said get out of VeniceASAP. Living with a deaf hubby I tend to agree. He found all of Venice unstable, all built on bricks that absorb water I could see everything leaning.

Small trip report for Venice,

Visit Cinque Terra in the north western part of Italy, it is beautiful, fairly cheap and the locals are very friendly:
