I got an e-mail from a friend today who recommended spraying Listerine any where you would find mosquitoes, around your picnic table, yard and I suppose yourself, I know it would keep me away, maybe this would take care of no see ums. You can use all favors. Just a hint
I got that email a couple of months ago and it actually works pretty good! I spray it all around my doors and on the ground outside the doors and it has cut the "inside" bug population down very noticeably. It also smells a lot better than the other "raid" type products. I reapply it every couple of days or after it has rained.
If it works, somebody should notify these people.

It absolutely does not knock them dead from the sky! But, I have noticed that spraying it around my door, that I often leave open, does help in a noticeable way.
Although it does not help outside, when we rent our villas on St John we purchase bug foggers at Starfish. We go to the beach the first full day and set off the foggers in the villa (great room, bedrooms, etc.). You have to stay away for at least two hours. Let me tell you it is the greatest thing. My wife seems to really get attacked by bugs. With the foggers we have no problems at all!!! It usually works for 5 or 6 days or so before we even think of doing it again. It is well worth it. It will knock out roaches and many other critters that you may not readily see.
