And not to dwell on tragedies, but it reminds me that although the murders two New York men on STT occurred a few months before the Geiger murder, that trial hasn't been held yet. Any information about that?

Unfortunately, I feel anger and rage towards the USVI government and judicial system in their response to the brutal murder of David Geiger, and attempted murder of Nathan his son. After living in the Virgin Islands for over two years I cant help but feel sorry for everyone..St.john will never be the same and it doesnt look like the police force nor the government cares about the violence thats occuring and plans to do anything to stop it....My question to the judicial system is what kind of message does this send to the youth and people of the Virgin Islands concerning crime and its consequences...when someone can take a life and almost another..and then get half of a life sentence for punishment...it makes absolute no sense..This not only hurts the hearts of all the many people who knew and loved David, but it also hurts the reputation of the US Virgin Islands and the people who run it....I hope and pray that the younger generation of the USVI will not follow the footsteps of their corrupted government officials who have forgotten to help take care of the lesser unfortunate youth while spending no telling how much money on their Lexus suv's.
