Woohoo! This BB is making me drool. Next thursday morning my wife and son head to STJ from St Louis....being landlocked (we dont truly count the Mississippi River as a water source anymore) I am shaking to get down there (although I think I had too much coffee).

Thanks for all the AWESOME advice...Hopefully I can bring back many great pics and many great stories for y'all. I am sure that your feedback is making this family vacation even more laid back!!!

Richard

Well, if it's any consolation, my fave NL team is the Cards. With my cousins living out in Ellisville, I became a fan. Even did the Busch Stadium tour back in the day. The Sox fans needed that 2004 Championship way more than you did. It was becoming a matter of life and death 🙂

Rich, is there a way for me to send you a picture? I tried to paste one here, but it didn't work. Thought I'd send you a pic of the three of us, so if you see us on island you can say hi.

LandLocked, My cousin does have kids, but now is in Nebraska. STILL Land Locked! I will think of all of you in the Midwest this week when we hit the water!

ByRequest1 - My favorite Sox t-shirt reads "Now I can die in peace." Sad, but true. 🙂 I'm heading into St. John just as you're leaving, so I will carry on the Sox cap tradition at Shipwreck Landing for you.

Good man, Boston Buffett Guy. What cracks me up is my 13 year old daughter bought the "Now I Can Die In Peace" shirt. I'm like "you have NO IDEA what it is to suffer!"

Have a great trip!

Lisa in CT

P.S. I'm a HUGE Buffett fan too. Have an MP3 of about 100 of his songs to bring down with us. "There's this one particular harbor..."

Rich, check out the "trip photos" thread posted by Mischievous. Beth took some awesome pics of Concordia.
