Hi all,

I just wanted to post a quick THANKS for your ideas and advice. This board has given me a lot of great info and I think our trip will be wonderful!

Here's the itinerary:
Red eye tonight
Fly into STT, ferry over to STJ
St John Inn 3 nights
ferry back to STT
Ritz Carlton 2 nights
fly home Tuesday

It's our first anniversary and our honeymoon was in Tahiti. I am hoping USVI will rival the blue waters of Bora Bora! :o)

Please let me know if there's anything I need to know about this week or my trip.

Thanks again!
Stacy

Ahhhhh.....Bora Bora. Well, I HAVE heard it said that STJ is second only to Bora Bora, so it must be close. You're a lucky girl, Stacy!

You're doing it in the right order ---- putting your less glamorous accomodations in front of your more glamorous. It's always hard to adjust from comfort and lush settings like Ritz to a guesthouse (I know, I've tried).... So, to do it in this order should be just fine. You'll be so glad to be on STJ and the STJ Inn will put you close to the convenience of Cruz Bay. Please give us a review when you return. I'm curious about your experience there as I have yet to read a review on that Inn.

Have a great time:)

Yes, my hotels are at opposite ends on the spectrum. But that's the only way I could afford the Ritz. Last year we were married at the Ritz in Laguna Niguel CA on August 8, and I think it will be romantic to stay at another beautiful Ritz on our 1st anniversary 🙂

I am all about cutting my budget in some areas to afford other things we really want. For our wedding, we spent an average budget. We cut $ on flowers, # Guests, etc in order to have the gorgeous setting. We both love the ocean so it was a perfect balance.

I am so excited, I can hardly concentrate on work today!
