Crap! Dean is officially a Cat 4. Just saw pictures of St. Kitts and water all over. 135 mph winds with bands over 100 miles from eye. All of you down there take care of each other and I'm praying for all of you! Jamaica may be in bigger trouble.
It's now 8 pm on STX and we haven't had any bad weather at all!! Some wind and a little rain, that's it!!
180 mile bands now from eye. It's still a ways away, and may be still headed south of you. Some airlines are allowing changes:

Hurricane Hunter plane just flew from St Croix through the eye and the eye is definitely defined.

Thanks for the info. Did St Kitts get hit hard? Or, is it just rain and lots of water there? Prayers for Jamaica...and everyone else in the path.
All I saw was manholes with bubbling water out of them and streets very flooded. Only one death on another island by a man trying to rescue his cow.
