Laura and I were chatting last night and 2 questions came up about St. Croix:

should we bring any cigarettes we want to smoke or are they cheap there?

and 2:

any good tattoo artists on the island?

Thanks,
Topes

hey Topes
NO need to bring cigarettes—they are cheap! I'm an ex-smoker (10 years without smoking now) so I don't know the current price of a carton but I know they are cheap. Everyone takes cartons home with them to the states. My husband had a new tattoo recently, I will find out where he got it and post the info later.

cigarettes and alcohol are duty free here, so you probably won't have ever seen them cheaper. Typically less than $15,00 per carton for cigarettes and $2.99 per liter of Cruzan Rum.
