I will be in St. Thomas in 10 days. I fish the flats in Fla. from a kayak. Is the Lagoon fishable, what fish are there and how acessable is it. Do they rent kayaks? Where is it located ?

Bill: The Lagoon is part of a marine preserve because of the number of hatchlings etc. There is a kayak eco-tour there, but no fishing is permitted, sorry. The shoreline here is different from FL (hence NO shark attacks!), There is bone fishing in Anegada, but only handline fishing, fish trap fishing and inshore or off-shore fishing as far as I know in the rest of the Virgins...
