Has anyone had any trouble with L & L Jeep? We rented a jeep from them recently and after we left the island they accused us of damaging their vehicle. This was after we walked around the car and they "OK"ed it and took it back. When we told them we didn't damage the car ( my husband is 64 and has NEVER had an accident EVER ) they went behind our back and charged our credit card an extra $500.00 without our knowledge, after telling us oh no problem....Just putting the information out Buyer Beware!

Oh dear, sorry to hear that. I can't comment on the agency in question as I've heard little about them but I do hope you've challenged the charge with the credit card company and that it'll be removed. Good luck and let us know the result as this sort of information is always useful.

I am also sorry to hear this. I have used L&L many times and have always been exceptionally happy with the service, the people and the equipment. I would call and speak with them directly to see if they can explain. If you can not work it out with them I would then call the CC to see what they can do.

I have rented from L& L at least 6-7 times and have always found them to be very professional, courteous and fair. Whenever we want a little extra time they accommodate us.
Once I found L& L, I never rented from any other rental company. Kurt is always helpful when I make a reservation and Levi always meets us at the dock with a smile. There are a lot of potholes and rough terrain on the island so one must be very careful. These are honest people and I would -- as the previous posted said-- talk to them and explain the situation.
