We haven't heard from you in a while, so I just want to make sure you and your family are doing OK. I'm not sure if it rained today, because I work M-F near the hospital, so don't always know what's going on with the weather.
Hope you and your family are having a good time! Please reassure us. 🙂
I'd be more concerned if she was posting every day as it would mean she wasn't having a good time doing a whole bunch of vacationing things which is what she and her family are here for!
Humm...
Maybe she got tired of the all posts (from other parts of stt and stj) telling her the weather was perfect and sunny after she spent an afternoon hiding from the rain. Really guys??? She spent all that time planning the perfect vacation for her family. To get rained out on the first day has to be disappointing. Not that any mortal can control the rain..... But, I jsut don't see the point of contradicting her or dismissing her disappointment. What are ya'll afraid of? That some other potential tourrist will read about KRM's rainy day and cancel thier trio? Yes it rains in the tropics. Sometimes for a minute, sometimes for days at strech.... And yes getting rained out at the beach is a drag, especially with toddler in tow. I hope she finds better weather especially for her STJ day. Doing a dance and swinging a chicken right now.
blue4u days at a time? The worst rain I remember from my 10 years on the islands was i believe april 1983, when we had three strait days of rain with bad flooding and landslides.
JEEZ John. I'm impressed you remember the weather from 1983.
Yes. Several rainy days in row is not uncommon. It's the tropics, not arizona. Also not uncommon is one giant thunderous 3 minute downpour followed by blazing hot sun. Personally, I like swimming iin the rain. Less chance of sun over exposure. But then again I remenber years ago setting up on the beach with my two babies (1994-1998ish) only to have sun disappear and packing up the car after only 10 minute of beach time. It's a drag....trying to decide will the sun return? should we just go home? Are your ankles getting bitten???? As an adult I just jump in the water when it rains. Babies afre a different story, dude...FYI.
Hi everyone! Im here had phone difficulties and couldn't get online !! Thank goodness it didn't rain yesterday! Haha.
And I have to note ... we love it here! Cannot wait to come back already!

Well I'm lousy where dates are concerned but vividly remember November 1984 when tropical storm Klaus dumped a huge amount of rain on STT for I think it was three days straight. t was my first year of residency here and my first encounter with a tropical storm. But several rainy days in a row is NOT common at all and occurs about twice a year.
Thanks for the reassurance, KRMLAW! I get nervous when updates suddenly stop, and I'm relieved to hear it was a technical issue. Glad to hear you're having a good time! Love your posts.
