We've visited both many times, but are sailing with a toddler for the first time soon. Any recommendations for fun toddler activities in addition to beach? Thanks

sailing? do you mean a sailboat vacation or are you on a cruise ship - in STT the Butterfly Farm intrigued my Grandson for a few hours.
We'll be on a sailboat out of Tortolla. For sure will go to STJ and Virgin Gorda. Any toddler activities???? Thx
On St. John, if you are stopping in Cruz Bay there is a small playground close to the National Park Visitor Center. The Visitor Center has books, including children's books. If you wanted to do a hike, the self guided trail at Cinnamon Bay by the ruins is easy, pretty flat around the ruins and relatively flat/some inclines if you do the whole hike. Trees provide lots of shade along the trail. If you stop on St. Thomas, the Butterfly Farm mentioned by Exit Zero is very nice; its in Havensight. There is also Coral World on St. Thomas.

I'd venture to guess that the toddler will be so enchanted by sea and sand and (such buoyant) swimming that every day will be a major adventure and that the little one will be crashing out very early every evening! Cheers!
