Okay, I'll say in advance that I'm embarrased to post this but what the heck, i'm among friends!!!

I'm a Kenny Chesney fan and saw him in concert recently and while I was looking at some recent pictures that were posted on this sight the song about the "Old Blue Chair" of his came on my ITunes and so I'm wondering... have any of you ever seen him while vacationing there or know any interesting tid bits of his living there? Just random thinking on my part, but I do love how he describes the feeling of being on St. John in that song and mentions Cinnamon Bay and it added so much to looking at the pictures! I think at least one of his albums was written in great part while he was there. Anyone know anything that will fuel my interest?

Tequila loves me.

They say "valmos hecharlo el traga"
It means "drink it all down 'til you see
The bottom of the glass and it's kickin' your ass"
Boys, the next round's on me

Hey Islander,

I had a post to you, I hope you see it. 🙂

Hmmmm, he is tall. Is he a skier? Do I get 20 questions?

You take as much time and throw out as many answers as you need to, Teresa.....but Strike 1, he's not a skiier.

I gotta have a majority vote on this, Ronnie - one vote doesn't count.....you have to rally the troops!

Come ON - boys and girls, you can do better than this!

Teresa, you wanna side up with Ronnie? Islander? Promoguy? DreamConch......c'mon, you Kenny lovers, weigh in on this one, don't leave Ronnie out in the cold with what is possibly the right answer, or the answer that could take him to the end of the line.......

Do you understand "majority", PG? (wikipedia!) There are approximately 58 people who have had something to say on the KC thread......so 30 makes a full house..... You and Ronnie make 2, only 28 more votes to go....one by one, not in groups....sorry, Promoguy - I WILL have the final say on this one - I set myself up as the judge!

It's Peyton Manning and they've been good friends for over 8 years now. Kenny loves football and Peyton loves country music.

Amazing how much PI work you've been doing Becky. I thought you didn't like KC.

I guess I can post this now:
Before he was an island boy, he was a down-home country boy from Luttrell, Tennessee attending the University of Tennessee with National Football League (NFL) star Peyton Manning. The two became good friends despite Chesney’s self professed title of “slowest receiver ever.” Even though he didn’t excel at football, college was really when Chesney’s music status began to surface and rise. After playing some local bars for a few years, he was finally signed by RCA’s Joe Galante in 1995.

The guy in the photo (the taller one) is Earl. He's one of Kenny's roadies. He's a Peyton Manning look-alike, which is why Kenny gets such a kick of having him on the crew.

Whatever became of Garth Brooks? He always wore those big hats, too.

No one is giving away a boat. I'll take a margarita on the rocks no salt please. I want to change my answer to Earl. It sounds so plausible.

Never said I didn't like KC, Connie.....I find some of his stuff to be drivel, but I'm a hard-core Arkansas redneck...we listen to country...

In my other life I was a cop.....some things never die.

Conch, no boats....but we will all chip in and have a battleship tattooed on your butt, how's that??? HAHAHA! You haven't even voted, how are you going to win?

Earl - 2

Payton Manning - 3

Garth Brooks after the Beached Whale diet....um, no, South Beach diet......may be a vote in there somewhere....

Of course it's Peyton Manning - SuperBowl MVP - very recognizable.

I'm sooooo bummed!!! KC is playing the NY State Fair (just over an hour away), but it's at the same time as the opening football game for Syracuse University (major fan here). What to do, what to do....

Ronnie, I'm confused...who is the receiver? Chesney? Chesney played football? He's a little bitty sawed off thing....well, I guess you don't have to be tall to be a receiver.....hmmm. Let me think on these things...

Still waiting on my margarita, I think some others have already started drinking today. Not fair!

It's 5 o'clock somewhere, Teresa - bottoms up....don't forget the lime....speaking of which, has anyone tried that Miller Chill with lime and salt? Very tasty!

Oh, wait, I went off topic - that's Buffett and Jackson - never mind, wrong number....
