No, he is on tour. Will be seeing him 10 days in LA and then San Diego. Before that he is in Las Vegas.

Rach actually makes a good point. Rach is free to post whatever Rach cares to, as often as Rach wishes to. No forum regulations regarding this. And I'm free to skip over whatever irritates or bores me (which Kenny does). Islander does a pretty good job managing this forum without my assistance (for which I'm grateful--I have enough responsibility). This morning I certainly skipped over the lengthy threads about "NOSEEUMS" and "Grand Beach Palace and didn't feel a need to exhort those posters to stop cluttering up the forum. Oh, and folks usually don't continue posting if they aren't getting any responses.

I think I was quite nice - Rach sent me a PM on the subject of KC and I responded - being quite nice by the way, now there is alittle bit of a "obsessed" fan coming across - maybe he will start PM(ing) you and you can deal with it !!

yes, pia you were very nice, but i am just curious!!! is there anybody out there that could be nice and answer some of my questions? i understand that everybody gets sick of hearing about kenny chesney, but back here in the states, he's a big thing and we all love him!!! i just think its great that the people who live on the islands all the time have the oppertunity to hang out with kenny!!! ya guys are very fortuate to have that oppertunity!!! thanks

I live "back here in the states" and I don't love Kenny. And I'm real tired of posts asking about him, too. I doubt that people on STT or STJ get to "hang out" with him when he does show up. He's there to get away from it all. If someone else hadn't already taken the name "weary", I think I would use it myself just for KC posts. 🙂 (said with all the friendly-ness I could muster)

hi everyone long time off the board but just want to say rach i completly understand and also agree with nick

there are many of us here on the board who have a wide variety of interests with ONE THING IN COMMON: THE USVI

some posts are about boat trips and excursions and some about villas rentals etc (i don't read those really since i am not at the time renting a villa) but i would never say i am sick of hearing about rental villas??!!!!

if you don't like kenny chesney then don't click on the thread...

and if you REALLY hate seeing kenny chesney threads go by then maybe you should be on a forum about ANOTHER group of islands like barbados or puerto rico.....
after all st john is kenny's HOME...

now...all that said...i am a new fan of kenny's and will see him in new york in july got tix right up front and will wear my WOODY'S TEE SHIRT and my husband will wear his woody's hat!
what fun!
and we will enjoy the fact that kenny shares the same love of the islands that we do...

Rach, I think the problem is redundancy. You asked a simialar question just a few days before and to bring it back as a second question makes it annoying.
Kenny comes here on R & R before, after and during tours. He knows his fans love him. If you are lucky to see him when he is here, then you are lucky. We here in the Virgin Islands over the past decades have had many a celebrity come and vist as well as live. We pretty much leave them alone. If we hound them like star struck teengagers, guess what? They won't come. Now Kenny has given more than enough hints where he hangs out and sometimes even gives an impromptu concert. He has had to sell his beach house for the many gawkers that have come looking for him. He now has a more secluded house and the word is mum as to where it is. That should carry a message.
I like his music too, but I don't go looking for him! I have seen him and didn't run over and say something.(Got to admit, it would probably scare him!) Proper VI etiquette would be to nod to him and if he approached you, that would be your invite for conversation.

How lucky are you to have seats so close to the stage. 8 days to go for me to his LA SHOW then on to San Diego. I bet what I paid for both shows I could have gotten front row seats if I went through a broker. Well anyway, I can't wait. It has given me a good distraction from counting done until next years return trip to the island.
