Hi! 🙂

I am going to STT this September and was wondering if there were places for me to rent a Kayak or Dingy or both?

Thank you!
🙂

Where do you want to be kayaking? I think most beachside resorts have beach shacks that rent out kayaks. I don't have any information about dinghy rentals on St. Thomas, but on St. John you can use Noah's Little Arks http://www.bookitvi.com/nla.htm

Kayak rentals at Sapphire. We did them...didn't last long, the current was pretty strong. Going out was easy, coming back in was tough, but it was fun.

Hop on board the ferry over to STJ, get off, walk to your right and rent from Noah's Little Arks and go to a few beaches on STJ.

You can also rent kayaks at Magens Bay.

Why don't you check out Virgin Island Ecotours? They do guided kayak/snorkeling tours through a mangrove swamp. I went last June and had a great time! Our guide, Marcus, was very knowledgeable about the mangrove ecosystem and we saw a number of cool sea creatures like a spotted ray, conches, lobsters and frigate birds. It was a very easy paddle . . . absolutely no waves in the mangrove swamp. Even though I am an experienced kayaker, I really enjoyed this trip.

Check them out on the web at: viecotours.com.

Thank for all your recommendations!

This trip we do not plan on going to St. John. I was hoping that on St. Thomas we would be able to rent a dingy like we have in the past on St. John.

Thanks again! 😎

The only dinghy rentals I know of are guided tours through the cruise ships. You can rent kayaks and small sail boats at most beaches.
