And am already missing St Thomas!!
Such a beautiful place!!
I just want to thank everyone who responded to my questions of the past couple of months prior to us going to visit St Thomas.
Our expectations were exceeded in most cases!! The Reniassance Grand was simply.........grand! The beach is nice and the folks running the watersports shack were just great getting us setup for sailing and what-have-you.
Got to dive a couple of times on Coki Beach. The first time was with Homer of Chris Sawyer's on Tuesday and the second time was with John with Coki Beach Dive yesterday. Had a great experience both times.
The only drawbacks is the slow food service at the resturants, but that was to be expected. We did really enjoy Duffy's Love Shack at Red Hook. Such a fun place to hang out! Even with the sudden rain shower on Wednesday night when we were eating. Also a few places we went to the A/C were on the fritz.
The daytrip to St John's was fun as well. My five-year-old just loved Trunk Bay beach and we all enjoyed the snorkle tour there.
All in all, it was a great vacation and I hope I can convince SWMBO (She Who Must Be Obeyed------the wife) to return there again in a couple of years when our daughter is older and is more tolerant of grown-up stuff and we can stay more than three full days. One needs at least seven days to really experience the Virgin Islands.
Again: Thanks from everyone all their advice and insights.
John
