Cannot wait ... found airfare for $550 from Boston nonstop. So excited!

So - does anywhere on island have new years fireworks?

Foxy's on New Years Eve can be a complete zoo so if you want something more low key, this is not the right environment. If you want to party and drink until you drop, then it is right for you.

Sometimes the Ritz Carlton has fireworks on NYE. Guess you can call and find out.
Definitely make reservations for dining out, where ever you choose.
There are many excellent restaurants. Are you staying in STT or STJ?

Talking about Foxy's being a zoo, Foxy's Wooden Boat Regattta is this weekend if anyone is interested. I remember being at it sometime in the early 80s when Playboy covered it.

Yes. Foxy's Wooden Boat Regatta is this week-end. They moved it from the original Sept. (?) date many years ago when too many storms and hurricanes disrupted the annual event.

Ah, I did think it used to be later in the year, thanks.
