For the past couple of weeks the Flambouyant trees have been bursting into full bloom!!! Dotting the island (STT where I live) with brilliant splashes of orange, red and yellow.
Joy, Oh Joy - Look around, look around and enjoy the beauty of this island paradise. Flowers blooming everywhere!
I know what you mean. I was there last week and the Flambouyant trees were amazing!!! I spent the week trying to figure out of to make them grow in Texas :).
Hello,

Oooops I see I misspelled it..........and heh, there is a gorgeous shot on my photo website, but I didn't know if I should list the URL.

We sent some flamboyant seeds back to my grandmothers home in SE Texas hoping to get some of them growing there back in the '70's. A little tree came up but died with the 1st cold front. And it doesn't get very cold here on the coast. So I don't know if they'd do very well here. 🙁
Gorgeous!
