I was just wondering if anyone knows if the theater in STT is showing this movie in 3D? Can't get a human being on the phone when I tried calling several times. According to wwwimdb.com (internet movie database), it's not really worth watching unless in 3D. Thanks!
I would try back in the evening. I think that they have 6 theatres so chances are pretty good that it will be showing. I'm not sure about the 3D version. I never liked wearing those cardboard glasses, I wonder if you can get colored shades for glasses to watch those movies?

The movie is showing but NOT in 3D. Saw it last Friday and it would have been much better in 3D but it was still enjoyable. Manager said the movie shipped to him was not 3D - who knows if that is true or not.
Thanks IR- I believe even stateside, it's not shown in 3D in every theater. Guess I'll hold off until it's on DVD. I only ante up to see something on the big screen if it's something that looks like it would be better on the BIG screen. Also as long as it has received good reviews from people on imdb. Dark Knight was very entertaining but to me, Wanted was THE best action movie of the summer, so far anyway.
I believe if it was the 3D version, you would know it... ever try to look at a 3D movie without the special glasses?
Blurry at best when they show the 3D action. I took the kid's to the Shedd aquarium in Chicago last year and we saw a 4D movie. It was amazing although I was half terrified when they would have something poking out of the seats at you. A lot of fun, I would reccommend it to anyone of all ages.

Huh- I haven't even HEARD of 4D. I remember a long time ago, a girlfriend and I were at some amusement park. They had this huge enclosed room that was rounded. One half of it was all like projection screen. They showed various things such as skiing and hang gliding, where you felt you were participating. We actually lost balance and fell over watching it. It was awesome.
Molly - regarding the colored glasses to watch 3D movies; check out http://stereo.gsfc.nasa.gov/classroom/how.shtml. It discusses briefly the types of methods that are used to watch 3D. All seem to have a filter/lens for one eye and a slightly different filter for the other.
sttsusie - 4D includes the added dimension of real time effects like your chair moving, something brushing against your leg, a mist of water being sprayed, fog rolling in around the room. Been to one that even had scents! Cool Stuff :D.
