Any recommendations for where to stay on Jost for a night? We're a couple - about 40 years old, and plan to have an afternoon at Soggy's and Seddy's, then an evening at Foxy's. I live in STT and have been to Jost a few times, but never stayed overnight. I'd like to find a reasonably priced place (doesn't need to be fancy) that's either on the beach, or for some other reason is a great location. Would love all the ideas/advice I can get. Also, any breakfast recommendations? I'm thinking the first week of July. Thanks!
Ivan's campground in White Bay.
I was just there in April, and we stayed at the Seacrest Inn which is just above Foxy's. It was perfect, clean, and inexpensive. Our room was a studio with a kitchenette, bathroom, and great a/c. All for a great price! If you go to www.bviwelcome.com and then click on lodging then Jost Van Dyke, you will see some of the options available.
My wife and I stayed at one of the villas above White Bay two summers ago for a few nights. Cute, clean & convenient. I believe we were in the Sunset West cottage. http://www.jostvandyke.com/villas.html
Good Luck!
The Perfect Pineapple on White Bay is quite nice. The Sandcastle is the classic. We've also stayed at Gertrude's Beach Bungalow.
