Is it possible to walk the entire island of JVD?
You could if you had an endless supply of H2O and an amazing amount of energy, that's to say walking the entire island of JVD, however you could walk the most populated portion no problem. Are you thinking of walking the entire outer parameter of the island? That could possibly take (and I'm guessing) at least a full 24+ hours walking at a good clip because it's mountainis at times and very rough shore at best. Just my educated guess having been there often. Jill
Why walk when on Jost? It's the perfect place to simply "chill". Get your exercise by swimming - and lifting your hefty cuppa rum!
Or walk back and forth from The Soggy Dollar to Gertrudes 50 times........
Although Jost is much smaller than Tortola or VG, you would not want to try to walk the entire island. It is rugged terrain and you would not want to find yourself injured or lost in the non tourist portion of the island. Take the previous poster's advice and stick to the beaten path on JVD.
