We've decided to take the ferry over to Jost from St John in May. I've read that reservations are recommended. About how far in advance do I need to make reservations?

I heard the same thing and called to make the reservations. The lady working for the ferry company laughed and said they don't take reservations! She has had a bunch of calls and didn't have any idea where the rumor started about reservations. Her suggestion was to show up about 30 minutes prior to departure to buy a ticket. Good luck!
